About
I am a multidisciplinary artist adopting scientific methods
and interests to create immersive, esoteric artwork that encourages
contemplation of the structure of the universe and our inherent
inter-connectivity within it. I see the emergence of patterns as visual
mathematics in our environment as symbolic of an algorithmic structure that
governs reality from the macro- to the microcosmic. I am interested in the
emergence of complexity from simplicity through rhythm and repetition, how
harmonic geometric forms can be used to inspire spiritual contemplation, and
the alchemical transformation of materials from one state to another. My
practice inspires reflection on the integral link between humans and the world
around them, our oneness of being within our environment, and the blurred threshold
of dualities such as ‘natural’ and ‘man-made’. This in intended to revive a
sense of reverence and sustainable awareness of our continued existence in our surroundings.
